Profile
Prof. S. Ngigi is an accomplished academic leader with over 15 years of experience in higher education with practical experience in educational research & evaluation, curriculum development & review, and faculty enhancement. With expertise in educational psychology, and teacher education, Ngigi is committed to fostering innovative teaching practices and enhancing learning outcomes. As the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence, Ngigi spearheads faculty development initiatives and promotes effective pedagogical strategies. A prolific author and international speaker, Ngigi actively contributes to global discussions on equitable and sustainable education while integrating technology-enhanced learning into instructional design.
Research Interest
My research focuses on enhancing learning outcomes through psychological, technological, and pedagogical innovations. I explore how self-efficacy and motivation shape student success, the role of technology in digital learning, and faculty development strategies to improve teaching effectiveness.
