Dr Abraham Rotich is a senior Lecturer at KCA university. He holds PhD in Entrepreneurship from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and teaches courses on new venture development, enterprise culture and climate, and commercialization of innovations. Over the last decade, he has worked on curriculum development initiatives that integrate entrepreneurship and innovation with other specialisations such as finance, marketing and management. These include designing a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship at KCA University and working on a number of initiatives to encourage an entrepreneurial culture among KCA students. Dr Rotich’s current research focuses on understanding the underlying issues in professionalising family-owned businesses in Kenya and how dynamic capabilities and organizational agility facilitate sustained competitive advantage, and how organization ecosystems facilitate company and industry renewal. He has published numerous articles in scholarly journals
