Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaiah I. C. Wakindiki led KCA University staff and students in receiving 1 st dose of COVID-19 vaccine at main campus Ruaraka. The Vice Chancellor had negotiated on behalf of the university with Ministry of Health (MoH) to allocate 500 doses for the exercise. This was in a bid to assist in KCA University efforts to manage the health and safety of the campus community.
The vaccination was prioritized on teaching staff, both full time and part time, administrative staff and designated service providers which include security providers and students enrolled for face-to-face classes from last trimester.
The Vaccination provides a degree of protection against the COVID-19 scourge.
