On Friday, June 23, 2023, KCA University under the Directorate of Special Projects and Alumni Relations, joined the global community on Environmental Sustainability Agenda by launching the first University’s Tree Planting Initiative at KCA University Kitengela land located in Kajiado County. This initiative marks the starting point towards sustaining our environment and supporting communities through various projects. The Tree Planting Initiative was officially launched by the University in collaboration with the Standard Chartered Bank Group. A total of 340 trees were planted as a soft launch towards the mega tree planting exercise which will be accomplished later in the year. KCA University and Standard Chartered Bank Group extended this exercise to the Ole Nkotila Primary School in bid to promote and sustain communities.
